Pennsylvania Film Production Tax Credit Program
Since July 1, 2007, Pennsylvania provides a 25% Film Production Tax Credit for production expenses incurred in the Commonwealth.
Watch this video to see how film tax credits have helped several businesses and people in the Philadelphia area, as well as across the state.
This year, $42 million tax credits are available to productions on a first-come, first-served basis. For the 2010-2011 fiscal year, this number will increase to $60 million. Once approved, you will receive your credit when your picture is delivered!
Qualifications:
- Films, TV shows, and commercials for a national audience
- 60% of total production expenses incurred in PA
- Expenses are subject to Pennsylvania taxes
Applications are considered in the order they are received.
